Our Fun in the Sun show will be here soon!
Remembering Cyndi Vigil.
Saturday, July 11th is our Fun In The Sun Open Horse Show. This will be a really fun show. We have lots of walk trot classes and are also offering free critiques to 4-H members who will be competing at County Fair. 4-H members can request a free critique in showmanship, English equitation or Western horsemanship; all you have to do is sign up for it!
Rachel Moore is our show secretary. Her phone number is 890-3177. If you would like to pre-enter, please send it to:
1337 Alex Way, Medford, OR 97501
Class lists and entry forms will be available on our website soon.
Tia Ogden will be our judge. Tia has worked with youth riders and 4-H members in Klamath County and has shown extensively on the QH circuit and open shows. If you are a little nervous showing, Tia's smile will put you at ease!
If you would like to help at our show, please contact one of our board members. I wish the Magic Horse Show Fairy really existed, but horse shows actually depend on horse lovers who donate their time to make shows happen. Thank you to all that have helped out in the past.
Remembering Cyndi.
Cyndi Vigil was born in Coos Bay Oregon and passed away on June 19, 2009. She is survived by her daughter Becky Parent, grandchildren Delani & Ruger Parent, parents Artur DuBois Jr and Donna Nolan, siblings Dawn, Arthur and Robert and the love of her life, Joe Varner.
Cyndi was enthusiastic and friendly. If you had ever met her, you would remember her. Cyndi's passions included her horses and dogs, trap shooting, hunting, fishing and photography.
Cyndi was a dedicated reiner. Her stallion, Okey Dokey Then, circled, slid and spun his way through countless competitions with Cyndi. Their awards were numerous and proudly received.
A trip and fall took Cyndi from us far too soon. It was a beautiful day to ride and the air smelled so wonderful after the rain. Cyndi was riding one of her young horses and was enjoying a great ride.
Our prayers go out to her family.
Remembering
Remembering one who rode high in the saddle, whose heart was honest and true. Who followed each trail with honor. And saw every promise through.
Goodbye Cyndi.
If you are interested in purchasing a protective helmet for biking, equestrian or other sports, stop by the Emergency Room at Providence Hospital. The trama nurses have protective helmets for sale at cost. Bike helmets are around $10 and equestrian helmets are around $25.
